TV & Audio Repair Services

Our dedicated workshop at our head office in Forfar can carry out under guarantee and out of guarantee repairs to televisions, recorders, hi-fi equipment, microwaves and vacuums. We are accredited with Panasonic service contracts for in warranty repairs and can service the majority of any other brand depending on spare part availability.

For service and repair on your electrical item(s) please call 01307 464187 and one of our sales team will quote you an inspection cost for your item (see table below). This inspection cost covers our engineer diagnosing the fault and supplying a quotation for fixing your item. Our engineers will not proceed with any repair until a quotation has been accepted, some small repairs are covered by the inspection fee.

Our engineers are trained to repair to component level and our workshop is equipped with the latest diagnostic and repair equipment, we aim to complete all repairs within 7 days from quotation acceptance, subject to part availability.

We offer three options for out-of-guarantee service work:

• OPTION 1 - Take your item to any of our stores in Forfar, Kirriemuir or Arbroath – You will be charged an inspection fee (pricing see table below)
• OPTION 2 - If you require your item to be collected from your address and returned after the inspection/repair you will be charged an inspection fee (pricing see table below) with an additional charge of £20.00
• OPTION 3 - Home visit/collection - our at home service call charge is £40.00 where we can visit you at your home and visually inspect your item (no repairs only technical help can be conducted at in home visit), if the item requires an engineer's inspection we will take your item to our workshop, an inspection fee will apply as per option 1 (pricing see table below) once the repair is finished the item will be delivered back and installed and tested at your home. For television repairs we can leave a loan set while your set is being inspected/repaired, please advise sales assistant at time of call that a loan set is required.

Please note: We do not install or repair aerials/cables/sky dishes or repair domestic appliances i.e. washing machines, cookers, refrigeration, etc. We do have contacts locally who specialise in these services, so please contact any of our stores for further details.
