Do not treat the W94C simply as a cheaper alternative to OLED. In a bright family room it can actually be the more practical choice because it combines high brightness with strong anti-reflection treatment. It is particularly appealing for daytime football, motorsport and general family viewing.

Is 55 inches the right size for you?

This is a strong main-room size for many homes: large enough to make 4K content worthwhile without becoming as dominant as a 65 or 75-inch screen.

Should you step up or save money?

Choose the Z90B OLED instead if dark-room movie performance and absolute black level are your priority. Choose the W94C if brightness, reflection control and daytime viewing matter more.
