What is the difference between a slimline and a full-size dishwasher?
A full-size dishwasher is 60 cm wide and typically holds 12–15 or more place settings per cycle — suitable for families and anyone who runs larger loads. A slimline dishwasher is 45 cm wide and holds around 9–10 place settings — better suited to smaller kitchens, flats, or households of one or two people.

How do I know if an integrated dishwasher will fit my kitchen cabinets?
Integrated dishwashers need a standard-sized cabinet opening — typically 60 cm wide and at least 82 cm tall. The door-hinge direction is also important: most kitchens have left-hinged cabinet doors, but some layouts require right-hinged. If you order an integrated dishwasher and the hinge direction does not match, the door will not line up correctly.

Will you take away my old dishwasher?
Yes — we can remove your old dishwasher on the same delivery and installation visit. We arrange responsible recycling for all kitchen appliances we collect. The recycling charge for a kitchen appliance is £19.99.

Do dishwashers actually save water compared to washing by hand?
Yes — a modern dishwasher typically uses significantly less water per cycle than washing the equivalent number of items by hand under a running tap. An A-rated machine can use as little as 7–9 litres per full load, while hand-washing the same items can use several times that amount. Dishwashers also tend to clean at higher temperatures than most people use when washing by hand, which can be more hygienic.
The energy and water savings of a newer machine are worth considering if you are replacing an older model that is more than 8–10 years old. Ask us about energy-rated models when you call.
