Can I see televisions and cookers in person before buying?
Yes — our Hawkhill Court showroom in Dundee has a selection of televisions and cooking appliances on display. No appointment is needed. Come in during normal opening hours, look at the products in person, and speak to our staff if you have questions. We are at Unit C, Hawkhill Court, Mid Wynd, DD1 4JG — call 01382 224488 if you would like to confirm current display stock before travelling.
What size television should I buy for my living room?
A useful starting point: for a viewing distance of around 2 metres, 43–50 inches tends to work well. At 2.5–3 metres, 55–65 inches becomes more comfortable. Beyond 3 metres, 65 inches and above gives the best experience. That said, room layout, furniture placement and ambient lighting all affect how a screen feels in practice.

What is the difference between freestanding and built-in cooking appliances?
A freestanding cooker combines hob and oven in one unit that slots between kitchen cabinets. It is generally simpler to install, lower cost, and the right choice when you are doing a straight replacement rather than a full kitchen renovation.
Built-in appliances (a separate oven, hob and hood fitted into cabinetry) give a cleaner integrated look and allow you to position the oven at a comfortable height. They tend to suit new kitchen installations more than straight replacements. Cabinet compatibility and dimensions need to be checked before buying. Do you sell gas cookers and can you install them?
Yes — we stock freestanding gas cookers and dual fuel models (gas hob, electric oven). Gas installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer, which is not a service we provide ourselves. We can deliver the appliance and our team will position it in place — but the final gas connection must be done by a qualified gas engineer. Can you install a TV, including wall mounting?
Yes — our television installation service covers unpacking, stand assembly or attachment to an existing suitable wall bracket, connection of existing equipment such as Sky boxes and digital recorders, full channel tuning, Wi-Fi configuration, and a demonstration before we leave. Do you offer finance or buy now, pay later on electricals?
Yes — finance and buy now, pay later options are available on qualifying purchases. This is particularly useful for larger purchases such as range cookers, large-screen televisions, American-style fridge freezers, or when buying multiple appliances for a new home.
